DirectDerm was founded in 2010 with a clear purpose: to make high-quality dermatology care easier to access. At a time when long wait times and limited specialist availability were common, we saw an opportunity to use technology to remove barriers and connect patients with board-certified dermatologists—quickly, conveniently, and affordably.

As an early pioneer in teledermatology, DirectDerm helped redefine how patients receive skin care. From the beginning, our mission has been simple: eliminate unnecessary delays, expand access to expert dermatology, and deliver care that fits into real life—especially for patients in underserved or hard-to-reach communities.

Offering Both Telehealth and In-Person Clinics

DirectDerm has continued to grow and evolve to meet patient needs. Today, we proudly serve patients nationwide through our secure online platform while also offering in-person dermatology care at six clinic locations across Northern and Central California: Manteca, Sacramento, Fresno, Salinas, Los Banos, and Merced.

This hybrid approach allows us to provide the right level of care for every patient—whether that means an online consultation for a specific skin concern or an in-person visit for a full skin exam, procedure, or advanced treatment.

Our clinics offer comprehensive dermatology services for patients of all ages, including medical, cosmetic, and preventive care. We specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, skin infections, and skin cancer, and we also provide advanced laser treatments and other in-office procedures.
